Queen Creek’s Landmarks, Old and New

The Queen Creek Olive Mill

If we could jump in a car and pick you up for a tour of our city, how fun would that be! There would be a variety of stops we’d want to point out along the way. But one of our favorites would be to swing by the Olive Mill.

The Olive Mill Then

Back when this establishment was only a hint of an idea, in 1997, Perry Rea and his wife Brenda had taken a trip to visit Arizona from Detroit. There wasn’t an intention to move or start a business out here, but Rea was stunned by the olive trees able to grow in this area. It sparked an idea…

That very same year, his family made the move to Arizona to begin the adventure of what is now the Queen Creek Olive Mill. They began by planting 1,000 olive trees within the 100 acres they had in Queen Creek.

The Olive Mill Now

Now, the Queen Creek Olive Mill is an attractive “Agritourism” spot for guests visiting from all over the country! You can enjoy food, tours, and lots of olive oil within the unique and fun experience “from blossom to bottle.”

Check out the event calendar for live music and other fun perks to your stop! But you can always rely on the quality service and quality products of the Olive Mill. A line of home and body products is expanding the range of all this brand has to offer. The award-winning olive oil will be a welcome addition to your cooking. Wrap this experience up in the beautiful olive tree setting where you can share a meal, enjoy the landscape, and take photos.

The values of this family-owned operation embody the spirit of Queen Creek, leaving a legacy of family and hospitality. Stop by for a visit, and you’ll see why this is a town staple!
